Design Challenge

The design objective is to create a residential community in a suburban environment that takes advantage of the communities’ amenities while bringing in permanent residence to help supplement the existing commercial environment.

Accomplishments & Design Solution

Aurum is designed to inspire and cultivate connectivity with a mix of creative coworking space, locally owned business spaces, and a diverse collection of residential options. Each residential unit will have a private bathroom and kitchenette. Full kitchens and community common spaces will be located on each floor to connect residents and forge a strong sense of community.

The building is designed to bring people together and enhance the livability and workability of home. Units and common areas have large windows that take advantage of natural light, fresh air, and unobstructed views. The metal clad building is strong and durable—reflecting the character of the makers and doers that call Aurum home.

The project offers its residence a unique living opportunity and has developed a meaningful solution to housing affordability. The combination of location, available coworking space, and lower rents will attract the “digital nomads” who want to live where they work, take advantage of the outdoor amenities, and be equally close to Denver and the mountains.
