Craine Architecture has been hired to design 25 residential condominiums in the existing El Jebel Shrine, which was built in 1930 and originally designed by William N. Bowman. Craine Architecture and Confluence Companies (developer) have been working closely with Barbara Stocklin-Steely and Denver’s Landmark Staff to sensitively design a project that aligns with the PUD standards and limitations regarding preservation and exterior alteration. These standards put particular emphasis on maintaining and preserving the southern portion of the building. We are very excited to be a part of this opportunity to adaptively re-use one of Denver’s iconic buildings!
