Design Challenge
Create a cohesive modern mountain community with homes and shared amenities. The work needed to respond to steep slopes, long views, and a phased rollout, with architectural variety to avoid repetition and enough structure to deliver quickly.
Accomplishments & Design Solution
The homes are an organic extension of the mountain setting. With clean lines of modern styling and architecture, each is carefully positioned to work with sloping terrain, preserve long views, and keep grading to a minimum. Roof forms vary from house to house, plans are mirrored and adjusted, and glazing is placed to pull daylight and landscape deep into interior spaces.
A modular approach made it possible to move quickly without sacrificing character. Home types were planned in advance at the street and phase level. That structure supported a rapid buildout, even as homeowner input and construction realities required adjustment. Across the community, homes open up to the landscape in daily life, and amenities bring people outside and into the stunning shared spaces, supporting a sense of community that continues to grow.
