Project Designer
Alex Asbury
Alex earned his Master of Architecture at the University of Kansas and was awarded distinction at graduation for his work in the prestigious Studio 804 Design & Build program. He furthered his studies in Singapore and Malaysia, and worked at two design studios while in school, tackling construction documentation and schematic design for a myriad of project types from commercial properties to luxury single-family homes.
While he leans toward the quiet and reserved side, don’t mistake that for timidity. Alex is a focused, driven designer who approaches each project with determination and tenacity. He was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, but he and his family moved to Marietta, Georgia when Alex was two and he spent much of his childhood tubing on the Chattahoochee River. Alex grew up with Golden Retrievers and plans to add one to his household next year.
A few other fun facts about Alex, he hates peanut butter and loves peach cobbler. His favorite family vacation was a trip to Iceland when he was 16, and he aspires to return, backpacking through the country and swimming in the hot springs. On the weekends, and I mean every weekend, you will find Alex in the mountains, camping, hiking, or skiing….and soon, it will be with his new dog by his side, and some peach cobbler in his backpack. Georgia meets Colorado personified. I love it.
